This policy explains what personal data lititravels.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only.
Who we are
LitiTravels (lititravels.com) is operated by Serphot Media Group OÜ (registry code 17221337), Sepapaja tn 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. We are the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, write to contact@lititravels.com.
What we collect and why
- Reading the site. Our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, process your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We need this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (legitimate interest). Server logs are deleted after 7 days.
- Audience statistics — only with your consent. If you choose «Allow analytics» in the cookie banner, we measure page views and reading time with our own first-party tool, Google Analytics 4 (loaded from our domain) and Ahrefs Web Analytics. Our own tool sets two cookies with a random identifier for 90 days. We do not use these data for advertising and do not combine them with other sources. Without your consent these tools do not run. - Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address to send the monthly digest (consent). The sign-up form passes it to a Google Apps Script service that we use to keep the list. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to us.
- Emails you send us. When you write to one of our addresses, we keep your message and address to answer you and to follow up on corrections or partnership requests (legitimate interest).
- Videos. Some articles embed YouTube videos. When you play one, YouTube (Google) may set its own cookies under its privacy policy.
We do not ask you to create an account, we do not sell personal data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Who processes data for us
Cloudflare (delivery and security), Hetzner (hosting in the EU), Google (Analytics 4, Apps Script for the newsletter list, YouTube embeds), Ahrefs (web analytics), our email provider. They act on our instructions or under their own terms for the embedded services. Some of them may process data outside the EU under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep data
- Server logs: 7 days.
- Statistics cookies: 90 days.
- Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe.
- Correspondence: as long as needed to deal with your request.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, objection to processing and data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time — for statistics, use «Cookie preferences» at the bottom of any page. Write to contact@lititravels.com; we answer within one month. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee) or the authority in your country.
Changes
We update this policy when the site changes. The date of the last update is shown below.
